Background
Dr Michele Zadra is a Research Fellow in Global Hydrogen Systems and Society with a PhD in Political Science from the University of Southampton. His doctoral research investigated institutional drivers and barriers to the political participation of EU migrants in post-Brexit England. He also worked in the international research project JUSTDECARB, co-authoring a paper on the public effects of climate assemblies.
Currently, he works within the Centre for Energy Systems and Strategy at Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é, focusing on the governance of complex socio-technological systems. His research investigates the effects of politics and policies on climate change and net-zero objectives. As part of the HyPT project, he is developing an inclusive and democratic net-zero hydrogen governance framework through the comparative analysis of four jurisdictions: Australia, Canada, the UK, and the USA.
